个人概述
我目前在中南林业科技大学外国语学院担任翻译硕士专业英语教师。在班戈学院，我为本科大一新生教授“大学英语听说”课程。
我拥有商业以及城市规划领域的专业背景，并曾在该行业工作数年。在此期间，我的工作涉及预测、建模、数据分析和GIS技能的应用。
在英语教学方面，我曾在多所大学任教，教授过不同类型的学生，包括本科及研究生层次的英语专业和非英语专业学生。
教学工作
我为翻译硕士课程所进行的工作涵盖笔译和口译的多个方面，我将进行授课并主持辅导课，重点聚焦于与本学科相关的语言问题（例如：笔译与写作技巧、口译、语言与发音技能等）。
关于班戈学院英语口语课程，教学重点在于提升学生在英语听说技能方面的自信心与能力，同时帮助他们备考雅思考试。

Name: Peter Bartlett
OVERVIEW
I am an English language teacher at CSUFT currently supporting the Master Translation & Interpreting (MTI) Postgraduate students in the FLC. In BCC, I teach ‘College English Listening & Speaking’ to the Undergraduate Freshmen.
I have a professional background in business and also city planning for which I spent a number of years working in this sector. In this context, the work entailed forecasting, modelling, data analysis and use of GIS skills.
With respect to teaching English, I have taught in several universities and for various types of students such as English majors and non-English majors at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
TEACHING
My work for the MTI course covers different aspects of translation and interpreting where I will give lectures and host tutorial sessions focusing on language issues related to this discipline (e.g. translation and writing techniques, interpreting, language and pronunciation skills etc).
With respect to the BCC Oral English classes the main focus is on improving students’ confidence and competence in speaking and listening skills, as well as helping them prepare for the IELTS (English language) examination.
