Rachel自2000年起从事英语教学工作，曾先后任职于孟加拉国达卡英国文化协会、印度海得拉巴国际学校、英国北威尔士多所中学以及班戈大学。她目前受聘于班戈大学英语语言中心（ELCOS），担任学术英语导师，自2012年4月至今持续履职。她曾通过英国文化协会接受专业培训，具备雅思教师和考官资质。
在过往学术研究中，她曾聚焦文化因素对英语教学法的影响，该研究系其应用语言学教育学硕士学位组成部分。
Rachel has been teaching English since 2000, and has taught for the British Council in Dhaka, Bangladesh, The International School of Hyderabad in India, several Secondary Schools in North Wales, UK and at Bangor University.Rachel is currently employed as an English for Academic Purposes Tutor for ELCOS, Bangor University, and have been in this job since April 2012. She is trained as an IELTS teacher and examiner through the British Council.In the past she has undertaken research into how culture affects teachers' approach to teaching English (as part of my MA Ed in Applied Linguistics).
