Digital banking and market performance
Currently, my research topics focus on digital banking and its performance. I am particularly interested in the market value of digital banking, as it allows the participation of investors and market participants in the assessment. According to the efficient market hypothesis and relevant empirical work, the assessment via market and investors has distinct advantages compared with other measures. Furthermore, the literature on corporate performance measures developed a strong case for using estimates based on security market returns. Unfortunately, the market performance of digital-related initiatives has garnered little attention in the banking discipline.
