OVERVIEW
Dr Christopher Hussain joined Bangor College China as a Bangor alumni in 2017, after completing his PhD in Economics in May 2017. Since joining Bangor College China, he has taught core modules in Corporate Finance theory and Behavioural Finance. He attained certification for Fellow HEA at the beginning of 2021, and is currently collaborating on research concerning the effects of COVID-19 on the Banking Sector with Dr Robert Tumanyan. Dr Christopher Hussain has also undertaken key roles in administration and management – authoring Bangor College China’s first 5-year self-evaluative statement in 2019.

RESEARCH INTEREST
Dr Christopher Hussain’s research interests concern government decentralization: administrative, political and fiscal decentralization, and its impact on key policy areas, including absolute and relative poverty, inequality, the delivery of public services in healthcare and education, and citizen trust in government.
